Mike Hassini before his hair transplant [Wenn ]
The former TOWIE star took to Twitter with the news revealing he needed some TLC after the procedure.
Mike retweeted the hair restoration brand – KSL Hair – with a message that read: "@MichaelHassini from @officialTOWIE has undergone an FUE Hair Transplant with @KSL_HAIR #bestinthebusiness #kslhairteam."
And in pictures retrieved by The Sun it looked like a pretty tough procedure, as specialists can be seen painstakingly moving hairs from the back of Mike's head and then transplanting them to patch up his receding hairline.
Taking to Twitter after the surgery, Mike simply wrote: "In need of some TLC."
It's no surprise Mike opted for a hair transplant as his receding hairline often came under fire during his time on TOWIE.
During an argument with Lewis Bloor, the Celebrity Big Brother star said: "Mate you’re 20 years old, the only thing past it is your hair line.

"You talk about my weight, I can lose weight but that hair line you need a transplant for.
He went in harder, by stating: "Standing here you look like McDonald’s arches. I don’t know whether to have a row or order a Big Mac."

Mike fell out with Pete Wicks on The Only Way Is Essex [ITV ] During the process follicles are taken from the nape of the neck to be used in hair transfer, which is an "effective and reliable technique."
